The 2014 Resource Guide has been published and is available for download. The resource guide provides information about programs, resource partners and other tips for opening and running a small business.


SBA 7(a) Connect

SBA 7(a) Connect is available to all active SBA lenders and provides an integrated view of your SBA loan portfolio. It includes an overview of your loan activity, performance and risk.  7(a) Connect allows you to see a list of your active SBA agreements, review a list of your 7(a) and 504 loans, check past due, liquidation and purchase statistics as well as your SBA assigned risk rating.  You can access 7(a) Connect through your E-Tran account.  If you need assistance in signing up for E-tran or have questions on how to utilize 7(a) Connect, contact one of our lender relations specialists.

FY 2014 YTD - 504 Third Party Lender Loans

The SBA 504 loan program provides long-term financing for the acquisition and/or renovation of capital assets including land, building and equipment. These loans are provided through Certified Development Companies (CDCs) working with lenders who make loans for approximately 50% of the project costs and retain a first lien on the collateral securing the loan.

Revisions to the Instructions for SBA Forms 1086 and 1502

The U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has made minor revisions to the instructions for SBA Forms 1086 and 1502. The Secondary Participation Guaranty Agreement, Form 1086, is used in the 7(a) loan program to document sales of guarantees in the secondary market. The Guaranty Loan Status and Lender Remittance, Form 1502, is used by lenders to report on the status of all SBA loans approved.
