Final Rule Amending the Zimbabwe Sanctions Regulations. ​Today, the Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) published a final rule in the Federal Register, amending the Zimbabwe Sanctions Regulations, 31 C.F.R. part 541 (the Regulations), to implement Executive Order 13391 of November 22, 2005, and Executive Order 13469 of June 25, 2008.   These Executive orders take additional steps with respect to the national emergency first declared in Executive Order 13288 of March 6, 2003.  These amendments make final the interim rule issued to implement Executive Order 13288 and make changes to implement the blocking and other prohibitions in Executive Orders 13391 and 13469.  OFAC is also incorporating into the Regulations one general license that previously had been posted only on the Zimbabwe page of OFAC's website.
