This document was developed in order to stipulate the general labelling requirements for retail packages of pesticides including the precautionary instructions and warnings which should be displayed. This revision takes into consideration developments in the labelling of pesticides with respect to The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) approved by the United Nations Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods.
